EDITOR'S NOTE
Hello and Happy Tuesday, EB! We told you! The weather experts are whispering that yesterday and today might be the last brutally cold days before spring gets its act together. Weβre cautiously optimistic β and emotionally prepared to celebrate 60 degrees like we're on vacation in Belize. π€οΈ

π TOWN NEWS
π³ Million-Dollar Views?
βA Dozen "Mini-Mansions" Proposed Near Riva
The quiet stretch near Riva Avenue might be getting a major glow-up (or a major construction zone, depending on who you ask). A builder has officially petitioned to construct 12 luxury homes to sell for about $1.3M each. As East Brunswick continues to grow, these high-end developments are sparking plenty of neighborhood chatter about traffic and our remaining green space.
π¬ Got Opinions? (Of Course You Do) & East Brunswick Wants to Hear Them.
Planning officials want to know how youβd spend the 2026 Community Development Block Grant funds which might total up to $300,000. These grants are earmarked for projects that benefit (i.e. 'do the most good') for seniors and underserved residents in our community.
π£ No More Squinting at Legal Ads Gone are the days of hunting through the back pages of the newspaper (remember those) for town notices. Thanks to a new state law, East Brunswickβs official public notices now live directly on the township website. Bookmark their page to stay in the loop on everything from zoning shifts to town hall tweaks.
π± Sushi Sadness on Route 1: Weβre pouring one out for Aja Asian Cuisine & Lounge in New Brunswick. The former Fuddruckers location (shoutout to the old-timers who remember the cheese pump!) appears to have closed its doors for good. Weβll sincerely miss that dramatic hibachi flair in the vestibule.
